ABOUT ELLEN WAGNER
Ellen Wagner is Viviance's Chief Learning Officer and is recognized as an eLearning authority, authoring
more than 70 book chapters, articles and monographs on instructional design, evaluation and distance
learning as well as hundreds of national and international conference presentations. Dr. Wagner has served as
Professor and Chair of the Educational Technology Program at the University of Northern Colorado and
Director of the Western Institute for Distance Education. She holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from the
University of Wisconsin and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology From the University of Colorado, Boulder.
ABOUT JOHN FARMAN
John Farman is Vice President of Sales and has a wide breadth of experience in business. He served as Vice
President of Business Development for Omni Financial Services where he managed and orchestrated financial
turn-arounds for companies in technology and manufacturing. Mr. Farman has served in senior management
positions in Training & Development, The Global Hunger Project (a strategic educational organization),
International Business Development for a accounting software company, and Co-Founder of an eLearning
company prior to coming to Viviance. He hold a BA degree in Business from LaSalle University.
