Due to the recent terrorist activities, the Interactive Panel Discussion with the two IBM speakers scheduled for this Thursday is cancelled and will be rescheduled. Please note that the Center WILL NOT have a Thursday Pub this week. On behalf of the Silicon Valley World Internet Center staff our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families.
DESCRIPTION At this Pub Talk, Flipbook technology will be introduced as a new user interface that allows you to display content in a book format and navigation. Mr. Peiser will demonstrate the advantages of producing catalogs, magazines, photo galleries, articles, and books in an intuitive and user-friendly format that integrates with other Web technologies. ABOUT BOB PEISER Mr. Bob Peiser is E-Book Systems Director of Strategic Partnerships. Previously, he worked in business development at iOwn.com, Align Risk Management, and Wetfeet Press. Mr. Peiser also has experience in the financial sector with Fidelity Investments and Comerica Mortgage. Mr. Peiser holds degrees from the University of San Francisco and University of Massachusetts, Boston. ABOUT E-BOOK SYSTEMS E-Book Systems (http://www.ebooksys.com) is a Singapore-based software developer and marketer founded by Dr. Seng Beng Ho and Richard Wan in 1998.
