SILICON VALLEY WORLD INTERNET CENTER
AND HALLECK ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP
A new corporate identity for the Center is part of the package.

PALO ALTO, CA, January 24, 2002 - The Silicon Valley World Internet Center (http://www.worldinternetcenter.com) today announced the launch of a new Knowledge Network Partner, Halleck, Inc. (http://www.Halleck.com), as well as the Center's new corporate identity, created by Halleck.

"The Silicon Valley World Internet Center is the nexus for innovations in eBusiness and communications," said Center CEO Dr. Susan J. Duggan. "Halleck is a marketing agency that understands the needs of the Internet Industry and integrates the latest web-enabled applications to move innovation forward. By collaborating with Halleck, we benefit from a first class organization, experienced and on the technology edge for marketing strategies. Our partnership with Halleck will benefit the Center community immensely."

Halleck will be formally launched as a Partner this evening at the Center's weekly Pub, an open networking event held each week at the Center's facility at the Stanford Barn in Palo Alto.

"Halleck has always felt itself in the fabric of Silicon Valley," said Halleck CEO Ross Halleck, "having been here for 22 years. Partnering with Susan Duggan and the Silicon Valley World Internet Center is an important step, because we both recognize the significance of what we are doing individually in the Silicon Valley business community and what synergistic impact we can make by working together. As a Knowledge Network Partner, I believe the total is far greater that the sum of the parts."

Along with the new Knowledge Network Partner, the Center is also announcing its new logo and corporate identity, which was designed by the team at Halleck. The logo reflects the Center's role as the forum for development of Internet technologies and markets worldwide. The use of warm golds and reds conveys the warmth and excellence of the organization. The stylized "I" and "W" swirl around a stylized letter "C," which forms the center of the community.

The Silicon Valley World Internet Center focuses on the advancement of Internet-related markets and technologies through the collaborative exchange of knowledge. A multi-corporate, third party venue, the Center provides a physical and virtual forum for collaboration among technology leaders and key end-users. The Center, a for-profit, fee-for-service corporation, focuses primarily on the areas of eBusiness, eServices and wireless communication.
