Within five years, wireless devices will account for up to 50 percent of the total eCommerce market.  In the U.S. market alone, mobile eCommerce is expected to be up to $500 billion by 2005 and twice that within 10 years. Over 1 billion eCommerce-ready wireless phones will exist within five years.  That large base will help turn mobile phones into a preferred medium for the buying and selling of goods and  services. Demand for mobile banking, payments, shopping, entertainment and other applications is real. Soon mobile customers will be able to buy insurance, cars and even houses through their wireless devices.  One of the  concerns is that security may hinder the deployment of eServices.

Our panel of experts will focus their discussion on the security concerns of wireless eServices for B2C and B2B, including market and technology challenges and barriers, market strategies needed in this area, and the social/cultural security concerns for the deployment of wireless eServices.
